Natural gemstones almost always contain inclusions - small internal characteristics formed over millions of years deep within the earth. We see them not as flaws, but as proof of authenticity: a record of the pressure and time each stone endured before reaching the surface.

We're selective - we never carry stones where inclusions compromise durability or visibly detract from beauty. But we don't chase flawless perfection either, since in natural stones that's rarely a good sign. Lab-grown gems are made rapidly in controlled environments, which is why they often come out nearly inclusion-free. A completely clean stone is more often the mark of a lab than the earth. So when you spot an inclusion in one of our gemstones, know it's there for a reason - it's part of what makes that stone one of a kind. Color Gemstones

VVS Minor inclusions can be seen under 10x magnification but are invisible to the naked eye and have no effect on appearance.

VS1 Some inclusion is visible under x10 loupe but not apparent to the naked eyes and does not affect the stone's brilliance.

VS2: Some inclusion is visible under x10 loupe and faintly detectable under close eye inspection or at certain viewing angles and lighting. These do not affect the stone's brilliance or overall beauty.

SI1: Inclusions can be easily seen under 10x magnification and noticeable to the naked eyes but have no significant effect on appearance and brilliance.

SI2: Inclusions can be easily seen by the naked eyes and slightly affect appearance and brilliance.

I1: Inclusions are prominent and have moderate effects on appearance and brilliance.

Diamonds

All diamonds that are certified by GIA and other laboratories have been listed using their standardized grading scale. Other non-certified diamonds are listed using the below grading scale for clarity under x10 magnification.

VVS: Minor inclusions that are hard to detect under x10 magnification. 

VS1/VS2: Some inclusion is visible under x10 magnification.

SI1/SI2: Some inclusions can be easily seen under x10 magnification. 

I: Obvious inclusions under x10 magnification.
